flightgear-dbg software package provides Flight Gear Flight Simulator - debugging symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install flightgear-dbg
flightgear-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the flightgear-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep flightgear-dbg *
You will get with flightgear-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
